An older lady drinking ginger ale should be something completely innocuous on Emmerdale.
However, when Gabby and Liv get involved, it turns into something utterly horrific which has left fans completely in shock over the evening’s events.
At the launch of Wingle, Belle and Lachlan’s new ginger ale, Lisa, Dougie and Gerry were among revellers who were enjoying their night out at the boozer.
But Liv and Gabby were not in the best of moods, after having been caught drinking gin and skipping school earlier that day.

Gabby tried to make sure Liv didn’t rat her out
They were upset that Daz ratted them out, and so as revenge, decided to make his day even worse by spiking his drink with ketamine they swiped from Vanessa’s medical bag the day before.
But Liv accidentally dropped the pills into the wrong bag, that of Lisa.
At first, she seemed to just sound a little bit drunk, slurring her words and holding herself up against the fruit machine.
Liv was concerned for Lisa, though possibly a bit too late
But as the episode continued, Lisa began to be unable to stand up properly, with the room spinning around her as she made her way to the table.
Suddenly she collapsed onto the table and smashed her drink, which meant the entire pub were shocked and rushed to her aid.
She was given a once over by the paramedics
They called an ambulance, which rushed her to the hospital to try and save her.
Though she seemed fine at the start, she suddenly went into cardiac arrest while lying in bed, and the Dingle family were praying in the corridor that she would be saved.
Lisa was seeing stars after the drugs got to her
Liv and Gabby met to try and get their story together, while Vanessa began to be suspicious of the pair after Paddy became incensed about the lost ketamine.
Viewers were utterly frustrated that Liv and Gabby’s scheme has not been found out, but were mostly concerned that Lisa may not make it.
Those who focused on Gabby and Liv were livid with the schoolgirls for their actions.
Emmerdale continues weekdays at 7pm on ITV.
