Dancing On Ice star Yebin Mok has been seen for the first time since suffering a "horror injury" that exposed her tendons.

Graham Bell's professional skater partner was seen leaving the rink on Wednesday, her foot in a protective boot following surgery to clean and stitch up her badly cut leg.

Masked Yebin looked downcast as she rolled a small suitcase out of the rink where the stars are rehearsing for the live shows.

While still partnered with Graham, she will not now be performing in the launch or the first few weeks of the show, instead forced to watch from the sidelines.

After months of long rehearsals and training, she faces the possibility that she will not skate on the show at all, if her partner if eliminated before her recovery.

Graham will instead skate with Karina Manta, making their debut in the second show, and the two were seen leaving the rink along with Yebin yesterday.

Olympian Graham has detailed what happened to his skating partner, saying a "freak accident" during training left her with a "stab wound" from an ice blade.

The skating professional was taken to hospital, where she underwent an operation to clean and stitch up her "badly" cut leg.

Yebin suffered a laceration to her shin, with host Phillip Schofield admitting it was "nasty" and too gory to be shown on television.

Sharing his upset, he told The Mirror: "I fell when we were training on Monday, and Yebin my pro-dance partner fell onto the back of my skate.

"She was cut quite badly on the shin and needed an operation to clean and stitch up the wound.

"She spent Monday night in Watford hospital and was released yesterday, luckily there was no nerve or tendon damage."

The star now has to relearn his performance with a new skater despite months of training, but has been given an extra week to do this.

Graham went on: "She has been told two to four weeks before she can skate again.

"It’s going to be really tough learning our routines again with someone new, but Yebin will be on hand to coach us both. It is now a massive incentive for me to stay in the show so that I can get Yebin back on the ice!"
