It's been a whopping 21 years since Malcolm in the Middle first hit our screens.
Malcolm was the child genius who had to put up with his dysfunctional family's wacky and wonderful antics.
The Wilkerson clan was made up of overbearing mum Lois, who struck fear into many of us as kids, and hen-pecked husband Hal.
As well as middle child Malcolm there was eldest brother Francis, dimwitted bully Reese and youngest sibling Dewey.
In a major change to other shows airing at that time, Frankie Muniz's character would frequently break the fourth wall and speak to us viewers.
Running for seven seasons with over 150 episodes, the American sitcom once drew in a staggering 23 million viewers and is still being enjoyed by new generations today.
But what happened once the show stopped airing in May 2006?

Some of the cast have gone on to enjoy incredible acting careers and winning multiple awards, starring in some other very popular TV shows.
There have been some surprising career moves, from becoming a DJ to a professional racing car driver.
While others have endured some troubling times – with one cast member tragically being unable to remember they were even part of Malcolm in the Middle.
Here's what the cast did once filming came to an end.
Frankie Muniz – Malcolm

Malcolm was the brainiac kid who struggled to fit in.
The boy genius was shoved in with the other gifted students, known as the Krelboynes, but could be just as troublesome as his brothers.
At the end of the series, Malcolm graduated from high school and got into a prestigious college, while working as a janitor at Harvard.
In real life, actor Frankie Muniz had become a child star, earning an Emmy and two Golden Globe nominations.
He played the lead role in the Agent Cody Banks movies and voiced many cartoon characters.

Once Malcolm in the Middle ended, Frankie admitted he was scared at the thought of getting older and expressed a desire to take a break from traditional Hollywood films.
He said: "Growing up has never scared me until last year. I started thinking about getting older, being an adult, and it scared me. Hopefully things will work out in my career. If they don't, then it was never meant to be."
To mark this transition, he starred in R-rated teen-sex comedy Extreme Movie.
Frankie then made an extreme career change, becoming a professional race car driver.
In 2007 he competed in the entire 12-race season of the Champ Car Atlantic series, finishing in 22nd place and earning $17,000 in prize money.
The following year he finished in 11th place and the season after he was in the top 10 for every single race.
Frankie Muniz and Pregnant Wife Paige Price Are Expecting a Baby Boy
Devastatingly, Frankie is unable to remember starring in many of his films and shows, including Malcolm in the Middle.
In 2012, at the age of just 26, he was hospitalised after having a transient ischemic attack, then suffered a second one in 2013.
While appearing on Dancing With The Stars in 2017, he said: "He said: "I'm not actually sure how my memory loss started. I have had nine concussions and I've had a fair amount of mini-strokes."
Frankie married his long-term girlfriend Paige Price in February last year – and announced they are expecting a baby boy in March.
Bryan Cranston is still known to many as Hal from Malcolm in The Middle

Poor old Hal! Not only did he have to contend with four destructive sons but also his stubborn wife.
Hal had a very immature side and would usually sneak away with the boys for some fun-filled antics.
Who doesn't know about Bryan Cranston.
He will always be remembered as the dad in Malcolm in the Middle, but now he is most famous for playing the role of Walter White in Breaking Bad.
Bryan won the Primetime Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actor in a drama series a staggering four times and a Golden Globe, while also becoming a producer on the show.
He went on to become most famous for his role as Walter White in Breaking Bad
An alternate ending to Breaking Bad was filmed where it turns out the whole series was just Hal's nightmare.
Bryan wrote and produced crime drama series Sneaky Pete and comedy show The Dangerous Book for Boys.
In 2014 he won a Tony Award for best actor in a play for his role as president Lyndon B. Johnson in Broadway play All the Way.
He has also directed episodes of Malcolm in the Middle, Breaking Bad, Modern Family and The Office.
The esteemed actor has also been in a tonne of big budget Hollywood films such as Saving Private Ryan, Argo and Godzilla.
Jane Kaczmarek was overbearing mum Lois on the show

Overbearing mother Lois spent all seven seasons battling to keep control of her badly behaved boys.
Lois had to keep her job at the drugstore while constantly fighting against her four sons and looking after her needy husband.
Despite her hotheaded nature, Lois was a softy under all of it and would do anything to protect her family.
Actress Jane Kaczmarek has gone on to have a very successful career after the show ended, claiming it allowed her to get more comedic roles.
The Emmy award nominee had a hip replacement in April 2004 due to chronic arthritis – then used it as part of her campaign.
She has appeared in Law & Order, The Middle, Frasier and most recently in Mixed-ish.
Christopher Kennedy Masterson

The eldest brother of the family, Francis was a disruptive child who was sent away to military school.
He divorced his parents and travelled around the country, getting a job at a Wild West-themed ranch.
Francis was seen on screen a lot less than the rest of the family and only made a handful of appearances in the final few seasons.
In the real world, actor Christopher Kennedy Masterson has appeared in a string of movies, including Scary Movie 2, Wuthering Heights and Intellectual Property.
Chris did voiceover work on The Wild Thornberrys and most recently starred in two episodes of Haven in 2014.
He invested in restaurants with his brother and has even become a full-time DJ under the name DJ Chris Kennedy.
Reese, played by Justin Berfield, was always causing trouble
(Image: Rex, Splash)
Reese, who coincidently was also a child in the middle, would always use violence when outwitted by his smarter brothers.
But Reese did have some strong attributes, becoming an incredible chef and eventually graduating from high school in the series finale.
Justin Berfield, who played the role, decided to concentrate on production work after the show wrapped up.
He made a one-off appearance in series Sons of Tuscon in 2010, as well as doing some voice work.
As well as participating in lots of charity work, Berfield seems to spend much of his time working behind the camera lense at a Virgin Produced film and television production company.
Erik Per Sullivan – Dewey

The baby of the family, Dewey was the victim of his older brothers' pranks and schemes, often ending up in the closet.
Despite his intelligence, Dewey was put in the remedial class due to an unfortunate misunderstanding and became their self-appointed teacher.
In real life, Dewey is all grown up now.
Actor Erick Per Sullivan, who has a first degree black belt in taekwondo, was the voice of Sheldon in Finding Nero.
Since Malcolm in the Middle ended he has moved away from the spotlight, with his las known acting credit in the film Twelve in 2010.
