The Cabins is the latest romance show to hook viewers as we all remain holed up in lockdown.

Viewers have been watching the looking-for-love hopefuls being thrown into the deep end as the couples had to move in together from their first date so they could get to know each other without any distractions.

The show only had its debut on ITV2 on Monday night – brought to eager viewers by the creators of Love Island – but fans are already being treated to the entrance of a brand new couple to stir things up.

The series, which sees singletons go full steam ahead on their quest for love by moving in with their date on the first day they meet, has been giving viewers front-row seats as the sexy bunch of singles rock up to a romantic chalet-style property in the middle of nowhere in the UK.

  • The Cabins viewers mortified as Abraham farts while calling it quits with Sofia

After 24 hours of uninterrupted quality time with their love interest, pairs have had to decide if they want to stick together or call it quits.

And now two new bombshell arrivals are set to shake things up.

New daters Terelle and Amani will be in Stag's Mount cabin and will be seen for the first time in Monday night's show.

Terelle, 25, is a software developer from London.

The heartthrob has been single for seven or eight years but is “super open” to a relationship.

He admits he’s a little shallow as his dream girl is attractive but he’s mostly looking for someone who’s “nice” and willing to go 50/50 with the effort they put into a relationship.

Terelle describes his ideal date in the cabin to be something fun and competitive and involve games, and would love to do something “sweet and romantic” like a dinner, hot tub, build a fort, baking or bike riding.

His best date he’s ever been on was one where a girl packed him a lunch and drove him to the seaside for the day.

He describes himself as “super confident” and “chilled guy”.

“I like having a laugh. Friendships are really important to me. I’m ambitious too. I think life should be fun. There’s a time for everything of course,” he said.

“I want someone that’s going to make me laugh, we bounce off each other.”

His mum is his best friend and knows “97%” of what he gets up to.

“She has, and I quote, said that I am ‘the best child she’s had…’ she doesn’t have favourites but I think she knows quality when she sees it,” Terelle boasts.

Amani is a PR professional from London

The London hunk will be shacking up with the gorgeous kickboxing-loving Amani.

The 27-year-old PR professional is also from London and is recently out of a long-term relationship and looking for love.

She describes herself as a “fun, talkative and caring person” and says her friends would say she’s energetic, loyal and bubbly too.

Her ideal date would include “some meaningful chats”.

Amani explained: “I’d like to connect on more than just a lusty, ‘you’re really hot’, kind of way. See if we actually get along and if we enjoy the same things. And also just to have fun, see where it goes.

The contestants can impress one another with their cooking skills

“I’ve never spent 24 hours with someone on a first date ever – it’s definitely one for the books. If you go on a dinner date, or drinks you only know someone for that hour, two hours and they act differently to how they actually are.

“Now I’m going to move in with someone and find out everything at once. Do they leave the toilet seat up, do they know how to make a good cup of tea? That kind of thing. It’s like having six dates in one.”

Her biggest turn off is common who can’t compromise and is dry – she needs to feel like she can feed off someone a little.

Amani’s celebrity crushes are Michael B. Jordan and Cillian Murphy. She likes a cheeky chappy.

Stag's Mount, where Terelle and Amani will be staying, boasts a huge bedroom with a cosy looking double bed in case things go very well

The Cabins was filmed throughout November during the second nationwide lockdown in England with the dating show now airing nightly on ITV2 throughout January.

The premise for the show – which replaces winter Love Island this year – sees couples living together in cosy luxury cabins equipped with hot tubs, log fires and only one bed – encouraging the singletons to get intimate.

After 24 hours the pairings must decide if they want to stay holed up in their abodes or move on with someone else.

The Cabins continues tomorrow night at 9pm on ITV2 and you can catch up on the series on the ITV Hub now
