Strictly Come Dancing winners Bill Bailey and Oti Mabuse have reunited for the first time since nabbing the infamous Glitterball Trophy.

Bill, 55, revealed that he was over the moon to be back in the presence of professional dancer Oti, who made his experience on the BBC One dance competition ‘unforgettable’.

The 2020 winners joined Helen Skelton on Steph’s Packed Lunch on Friday to reminisce about their epic win.

Funnyman Bill insisted that he still hasn’t quite come around to the idea that he championed the competition, ahead of EastEnders Maisie Smith, Made In Chelsea’s Jamie Laing, and YouTuber HRVY.

“It was a surprise to me”, he laughed.

“I am thrilled, it still hasn’t quite sunk in yet and this is the first time Oti and I have met since that night.”

When quizzed by host Helen on what he thought the public’s perspective of him was ahead of the show, Bill admitted that he felt as though people would never have believed in him.

“I think people thought I would be a novelty item for a few weeks, a bit of a comedy dancer, maybe a bit of a dad dancer, he’ll be fun for a couple of weeks and then people will think they’ve had enough of this,” he explained.
