Emmerdale 's Harriet Finch's murderous past comes back to haunt her next week when she learns the grave under which she buried DI Malone's body is to be exhumed.
Harriet and Dawn Taylor killed evil Malone when he threatened them, and they hid his body on top of another grave.
In the graveyard, Harriet is distracted by a woman standing at the grave where Malone’s buried.
Later that day, Harriet’s anxiety leads her to bare her soul in prayer, however, she is left ashen after being interrupted by Jean, the woman from the graveyard.

Harriet offers her sympathies when Jean reveals she is the daughter of a man in the graveyard – buried beneath Malone.
But Harriet’s heart sinks when Jean reveals she is planning to exhume her father’s body.
The next day, Harriet calls the Bishop, determined to stop the exhumation, and the Bishop announces she will be coming to visit Harriet in person.
Laurel and Jai decide to have a termination when they learn their baby has Down’s syndrome
Harriet panics, worrying this might lead to Malone’s body being discovered sooner rather than later.
Harriet tells Will Taylor and he is panicked too – realising something has to be done.
Meamwhile, at the hospital, Laurel and Jai are told the results of the CVS test and that their baby has Down’s syndrome.

They return home feeling numb knowing there is much to work out and process.
On returning home they are shocked to discover that whilst they were gone Gabby had found the scan picture and they walk into the house to have the kids greeting them excitedly about getting another brother or sister.
As Laurel and Jai struggle to process things, Laurel's friend Rhona persuade her to share what’s bothering her, and Laurel comes clean about her pregnancy, but when the subject of the baby’s diagnosis is put on the table, an atmosphere descends over their conversation.
Harriet realises she is about to be rumbled
Soon Rhona is left upset and angry that Laurel has put her in this situation and Laurel is left devastated.
The next day as Laurel and Jai struggle to make their decision whilst across the village Marlon and Rhona talk fondly about their son Leo and what joy he has brought to their lives.
There are many factors Jai and Laurel discuss and consider, but soon the couple are united in a silent sadness.
Both of them are quietly devastated by their decision to terminate the pregnancy.
