I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here’s location may have been changed this year, but that doesn’t mean it’s any easier for the celebrity campmates.

The BushTucker trails in the makeshift jungle at Gwyrch castle are just as grueling and gruesome, and this year’s stars including Jordan North, Shane Richie, and Giovanna Flecther have already been subjected to some horrific challenges so far.

Despite this, the hideous Bar-Baric trial has been described as one of the smelliest and most disgusting challenges the iconic ITV show has ever done.

Lifting the lid on the horrific trail, I’m A Celebrity hosts Ant and Dec explained exactly what the terrified campmates were expected to do in order to win those all-important stars so they could eat a delicious dinner that evening.

“This is Bar-Baric. You will see there are two chambers here. All six of you will be chained and locked to a giant bar in the first chamber,” the Geordie host began.

“When the Trial begins a number of keys will be dropped in and one of the keys will unlock the first celebrity who will be on the right-hand side of the bar. Once they are unlocked, they will be able to slide the bar and
free themselves and exit the first chamber and enter the second.”

The brave girls in the camp quickly decided what order they should be chained to the bar.

Victoria volunteered to be last, meaning that she would face the worst that that chamber had to offer.

Meanwhile, Giovanna offered to go first in a bid to retrieve a couple of stars for their dinner.

The brave author faced six boxes, each of which contained two stars guarded by Castle Critters and then another which contained a huge tarantula.

Ruthie was next and she rummaged through a bed of earthworms to find the all-important star before Beverley battled an array of fish guts and slime which were dumped onto her head.
