Strictly Come Dancing 's Caroline Quentin danced an incredible raunchy Cha Cha Cha on Saturday with her partner Johannes Rabebe.

Johannes teased it was going to be a "feisty and flirty" dance, with Caroline explaining she was playing a cougar who fancies a hunky fireman who walks past her house while she is doing her domestic chores.

"I have to push my bottom out quite a lot," she explained.

"A lot of people know my work through the comedy I've done, and I'm hoping that this dance will reveal some of that comedy."

During the routine, Caroline tore off her dressing gown costume to reveal a stunning dress underneath.

And towards the end of the steamy routine, Caroline stuck her tongue out and licked Johannes' bulging biceps up and down.

"Oh my goodness I loved it, it was so fun!" gushed judge Shirley Ballas.

Caroline and Johannes divided fans as some thought the licking was "strange"

"Were you licking his arm!?" she asked.

"She was licking his arm, I saw that!" confirmed host Tess Daly.

"I did what all of the nation would like to do," joked Caroline.

Anton Du Beke told the pair: "You seemed to be having a marvellous time, it's a joy, I love to watch you dance.

"You could never look bad, you just looked terrific

"If you're gong to do a Cha Cha, this is how you do a Cha Cha," he added.

"This was by far your best dance of the series."

But Craig Revel Horwood said: "I think Johannes is the one who needs rescuing darling, I think we really could have done without the tongue action.

Some viewers loved the dance, but others felt it was inappropriate to lick anyone during a pandemic.

One viewer tweeted: "Don’t lick people’s limbs during a pandemic, Caroline. Or at any other time, really. Bit weird."

Another agreed: "It was such an odd thing to do & her whole dance was just strange! I can see her going this week."

"I got the comedy of it, but that was a BIT weird," remarked a third.
