This Morning have confirmed that Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford will be appearing on the show tomorrow despite news of their axe.

At the weekend, the Daily Mirror revealed that the much-loved couple would be replaced on Fridays by Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary, sparking a cry of outrage from furious fans.

Despite the controversy, the ITV daytime show has confirmed that the pair will be returning to host the show tomorrow.

Filling for Holly Willoughby today, host Davina McCall confirmed that Eamonn and Ruth would be back tomorrow.

Another cringed:" Alison waving to Ruth. Awkward #ThisMorning ".

"Slightly awkward that Alison is presenting #ThisMorning today and then Ruth pops up on loose women," pointed out another.
