The Chase welcomed a brand new Chaser named Darragh 'The Menace' Ennis on Thursday's show.

Irishman Darragh played well though he lost his first round, but viewers were rather distracted.

Twitter was aflame as hoards of users compared Darragh to a plethora of different celebrities.

Comparisons included Kevin Keegan, John Bishop, Micky Flanagan, Nick Grimshaw, Stan Boardman, Fred West, and Rufus Sewell.

One viewer tweeted: "Looks like Fred west #thechase ".

"Looks like Stan Boardman #thechase " wrote another.

A third remarked: " #thechase he looks like Robert Powell…"

"Why does the new chaser look like a mix of both the guys from Step Brothers #thechase," added one more.

"The new chaser looks like Mick Robertson from Magpie," pointed out one more.

A lot of viewers agreed with the person who tweeted: "The new Chaser looks a lot like John Bishop".

"It’s a tough one. I’m somewhere between Josh Grobin and Brian May," pondered another.

Neuroscientist Darragh, already nicknamed "The Menace" joined the other quizzing pros, Jenny ‘The Vixen’ Ryan, Shaun ‘The Dark Destroyer’ Wallace, Mark ‘The Beast’ Labbett, Anne ‘The Governess’ Hegerty and Paul ‘The Sinnerman’ Sinha.

But viewers were furious during his episode when he won a whopping amount of money – only for other contestants to dramatically decrease the amount in the pot.
