He said: “With my first child, Harry, there was a period where mine and Harry's mum's relationship affected my relationship with him.

"I didn't get to see him for a period of time, so I missed out on quite a lot. Now, me and my son Hal, we spent all the time together. He's, like, my shadow.

"I love him, but there was a period where I just couldn't see this happening in the future. So, I did miss out quite a lot of Hal growing up, as a baby.”

Now everything has changed as the father and son have an incredible bond.

His son Harry threw all his support behind his dad during his Dancing On Ice stint by attending every single show.

Joe gushed with utter happiness that his son was proud of his achievements on the skating show.

He added: “Harry's now 13, so last year, when I done Dancing On Ice, he come to every single show.

"He brought all his friends along with him. So, he was so proud. It was the first time really that I'd done anything, and him be of the age where I can see him being proud of his dad."

Joe is also dad to son Rex, who he shares with his current girlfriend and long-time partner Stacey Solomon.

At their lovenest, alongside Rex, they raise Stacey's sons Zach and Leigh from her previous romances.

Baby number four for Stacey could be on the cards as Joe was left feeling broody because Rex has passed through the baby stage so fast.

He said: “I look at photos of Rex, like, literally a year ago, and he was a tiny, tiny little baby and it just goes so fast.

"And now, he's like a little terror. He's up and down the stairs. He's in the cupboards. He knows where the chocolates are hidden. Like, he is on it. He's like a little grown-up. So, it goes so fast.

"Yeah, I'm really starting to miss the baby period 'cause it does go so fast, and that is such a precious little time when the baby is first born. So, yeah, I'm not gonna lie. I think I might have one more in me, you know? I'm getting a little bit broody.”

Joe hailed his own late dad Ricky, who died aged 39, as his best friend as he celebrated his memory while speaking on the podcast.

Completely gutted, the TV personality lamented how his dad never got to meet his grandkids.

He said: “My dad was 39 when he died, and I'm 39 in January, and that scares the life outta me, to think that, you know, he was so young…

"I'm gutted for him that he never got to bring us up properly. He never got to see his grandkids, so I feel so sorry for him.

"But on the other hand, I'm determined that I'm gonna do it differently, that I'm gonna try and be here as long as possible and see my grandkids and see all my boys grow up into being beautiful young men.”
