As if Brad Pitt didn't already have everything going for him, it turns out he's also a complete sweetheart.

The Hollywood hunk, 56, was snapped handing out packages of groceries to low-income families in Los Angeles.

Brad was said to have spent the entire hours lugging boxes from the back of a truck, which he himself drove to the spot.

And an eye-witness even said the people who showed up didn't realise they were in the presence of Hollywood royalty, down-to-earth Brad displaying "zero swagger."

Brad rocked a casual style of ripped jeans and jacket, wearing his shoulder-length locks loose and protecting himself with a mask over his face.

He also donned a pair of gloves to handle to boxes, heaving them onto a cart and wheeling them from the truck.

At one point he took a break from the hard physical work to have a coffee, chatting away with a mate while sat in the back of the truck.

An eyewitness to the heartwarming display recalled to MailOnline : "Brad really did seem like a hero, the man did not stop all day.

"Just seeing him driving a big truck in South Central LA during Covid times was in itself amazing.

"He was completely committed, you could see it wasn't a case of him turning up and showing his face.

"He had his gloves on and he was involved as much and probably more than anyone else there.

"His heart was in it and it was just a hats-off moment. It seemed like it was the real Brad Pitt, which we don't really ever get to see."

They added that he only stopped for around three minutes "every hour or so" for a break.

The source said that he stuck about for a chat with the other volunteers and that it "really felt like Brad was in his element."

And Brad was said to have brought his speakers along, hooking them up to his phone and blasting out the tunes.

He wasn't alone on the day, as mate Thomas Houseago, a British sculptor turned up.

The pals have been close for years, and last year hit up the Venice Biennale art exhibition together.

"It was obvious that they are very, very good friends," the eyewitness remarked, "They chatted for at least half an hour and Thomas stayed after Brad left."
