Louise Redknapp has shut down claims that she's an 'embarrassing mum' as she insists her two boys are very proud of her pop star career.
It was reported that her two sons Charley, 16, and Beau, 11, who she shares with her ex Jamie Redknapp, would prefer that she did not flaunt so much of herself in her steamy music videos and on social media.
But following claims her semi-naked appearances “left her sons cringing”, Louise has hit back at the rumours.
Turning 46 earlier this month, the star looked sensational as she returned to the stage after years out of the spotlight, starring in sexy new music videos.

And Louise has revealed her sons told her how proud they are of her in a sweet message in her birthday card this year, and have not been left red-faced, despite reports.
Speaking to Express.co.uk, Louise told how her sons made her cry on her big day.
“In my birthday card this year, my son just said, ‘We are so proud of you and what you’ve achieved and you inspire us every day mum to be what we want to be.’”

“So that is what my 16-year-old wrote in my birthday card. Not how embarrassed he is of me, or how he hates me wearing a crop top or a leotard, but how I inspire him to always believe in himself and to be the person he wants to be.
“So it did make me really cry as you can imagine, reading the birthday card, but I think that meant the world to me and obviously I would never do anything to embarrass my children.”
Earlier this month it was claimed Louise’s saucy moves and semi-naked snaps were making her boys cringe.

But Louise has insisted rumours of their “embarrassment” erupted from comments she made in jest, which led some to believe her sons weren’t too keen on that side of her work.
The former Eternal band member has insisted: “If I really thought that they would be embarrassed at home, I would be mortified.
“They’re the last people in this world I would ever want to embarrass or hurt and I’m not saying that sometimes us mums can’t do [embarrassing] things, but I would never go out of my way to do that, they’re my absolute priority.”
