Coronation Street 's Johnny Connor will find himself on the wrong side of the law next week as someone close to him speaks out about his past.
His wife Jenny (Sally Ann Matthews) was recently told by Scott Robinson about his former life as a getaway driver.
He left a man to die and later contacted his mother, Margaret, who told him that her son died after becoming an alcoholic following a traumatising robbery.
And next week, Johnny (Richard Hawley) makes the shocking decision to tell Margaret it was him who was involved in the robbery.

Johnny confides in Jenny how seeing Peter Barlow (Chris Gascoyne) hit the bottle has brought home how he ruined the life of the security guard all those years ago, as he too turned to alcohol.
Jenny urges him to forget about it but later, Carla Connor (Alison King) finds Jenny in tears.
Jenny fills Carla in on Johnny’s crimes, telling her all about his past criminal deeds.
The police tell Johnny they are arresting him on suspicion of burglary and GBH
Later, Carla quizzes Johnny about it all, and assures him that is is OK and everyone has done things they regret.
Margaret calls at the Rovers and explains to Jenny that she is the mother of the security guard who was injured in the hit and run.
Johnny confesses to her that he was responsible for her son Grant's tragic death.
Johnny is absolutely furious with Jenny as she doesn't understand he might go to prison
Margaret goes straight to the police
Jenny begs Margaret not to go to the police, explaining that Johnny suffers from MS.
But Carla finds Jenny in tears as she reveals that Margaret is now likely at the police station.
Johnny fails to make Jenny accept that he’s almost certainly going to prison.

Carla Connor finds Jenny Connor in tears
Jenny tells Johnny that her step-daughter Daisy has called and she and her boyfriend are coming for lunch.
Johnny realises he will have to do something drastic to get her to face the music, and announces he wants a divorce.
Daisy and her boyfriend Lee, arrive for lunch, and during the awkward visit Johnny tells Daisy about Aidan’s death, his affair with Liz and how Jenny tried to run her over.
Daisy quietly enjoys Jenny’s discomfort, and Jenny insists Daisy and Lee stay for dinner.
Johnny and Jenny have a huge row and it escalates, but they are interrupted by the arrival of the police who tell Johnny they are arresting him on suspicion of burglary and GBH.
