I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! host Ant McPartlin has wasted no time in ramping up the banter as the ITV show returned to our screens.
With the show relocated to Gwrych Castle near Abergale, in North Wales after Covid restrictions stopped the crew travelling to their usual spot in the Australian jungle, Ant was quick to joke about the time as they would usually be around 12 hours ahead of the UK when he goes on air with co-host Declan Donnelly.
Ant also used the moment to have a quick dig at parasport athlete Hollie Arnold, after she introduced herself to others in the camp as "MBE".
The 26-year-old gold medallist spoke to her fellow camp mates on a walkie talkie and was quick to mention that she had been honoured by the Queen.

When it cut back to Ant and Dec at the castle, the Geordie duo thought it was time for a "quick time check", to which Ant confirmed it was 9.33pm in Wales, as it was across the UK.
With the crew laughing, Dec replied: "Thanks for that Ant."
Ant hit back by joking: "It's actually Ant McPartlin OBE."
It was enough to get viewers taking to Twitter to share their laughter at the hilarious moment, with one confirming: "Just incase anyone wasn't sure, Hollie Arnold does in fact, have an MBE".

While a third wrote: "'It's actually Ant McPartlin, OBE' damn they’re already shaming Hollie Arnold, MBE."
With the show coming from the UK for the first time and no five star hotel in Australia to fund for the celebrities and their families, it wasn't lost on viewers that there were more helicopters on hand to ferry the camp mates to their temporary home.

I'm A Celeb fans envious of campmates being allowed to hug each other
Unfortunately for I'm A Celeb bosses, this was not something that impressed viewers too much as the five separate helicopters flew into shot during the launch show on Sunday.
While it used to be the case that the celebs would arrive in groups of three, this time they were afforded a chopper each.
Viewers argued that this was not the most environmentally friendly decision that the producers could have made.

Another wrote: "Why they all coming in separate helicopters? #imacelebrity seem quite happy to kill of the environment."
While a third tweeted: "Well done ITV for showing real care for the environment when getting individual helicopters to drop off 10 people in Wales."
