Hartson was one of George Graham's last signings at Arsenal
Born in Wales, Hartson started his career at Luton in 1992 before joining Arsenal three years later as one of George Graham's last signings.
The Gunners paid £2.5million for the then 19-year-old, which was a British record fee for a teenager at the time.
After two years at Arsenal Hartson moved to West Ham, Wimbledon, Coventry and then Celtic, where he spent five years.
The Swansea-born star finally represented West Brom, but also spent one season on loan at Norwich in 2007.
