Strictly Come Dancing fans were left confused this evening as Katya Jones appeared in a pro dance, despite the fact she is supposed to be self-isolating.

The professional dancer, 31, tested positive for Covid-19 last week.

As a result, she and partner Nicola Adams were forced to pull out of the competition in line with the BBC programme's coronavirus guidelines.

But viewers were confused when she starred in tonight's pro dance – though hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman later confirmed that the performance was filmed before the show started.
