The new film comes from God's Own Country director Francis Lee and is a period drama set in 1840s England.

The tale follows a real-life acclaimed but overlooked fossil hunter named Mary Anning (Winslet) who lives on the wild coastline of Lyme Regis.

When a visiting tourist named Roderick Murchison (James McArdle) arrives and offers to pay Mary to care for his ailing wife Charlotte (Ronan), Mary has to oblige.
