Today, millions of people around the world are celebrating Diwali – the Indian festival of light.
To celebrate, Instagram has launched an AR Diwali filter, Stories templates and a special challenge, called #ShareYourLight.
Instagram said: “This year, coronavirus restrictions mean that people will be celebrating Diwali a bit differently.
“Diwali is the festival of lights, a time of positivity and new beginnings – celebrated by South Asians all over the world.
“With many unable to see family or friends in person, Instagram is helping people celebrate online, with a new AR filter, Stories templates and the #ShareYourLight challenge – a call to share a gesture of positivity and light.”
