Borat 2 fans ‘roaring with laughter’ at Sacha Baron Cohen’s ‘true masterpiece’

Viewers of the new Borat film have praised it as a "true masterpiece".

Amazon Prime Video released the satirical comedy film ahead of the final US presidential debate between President Donald Trump and former Vice-President Joe Biden.

Elsewhere, another fan of Cohen's comedy character wrote: "Just watched #Borat2! The movie is extremely funny, and one of my favorites of the few I saw this year.

Viewers at home are not the only ones praising the film either, as 83% of critics on review aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes have rated the film 'Fresh'.

The consensus reads: " Borat Subsequent Moviefilm proves Sacha Baron Cohen's comedic creation remains a sharp tool for exposing the most misguided — or outright repugnant — corners of American culture."

However, one person who has slammed the film is President Donald Trump's attorney and former New York City mayor Rudolph 'Rudy' Giuliani.

In the film, Giuliani was interviewed by Borat's fictional daughter Tutar where he compliments her on her looks, holds her hand and they go to the bedroom.

It was then he was shown appearing to recline on a bed with his hands down his trousers.

Following the clip going viral on Twitter, Giuliani defended his unsuspecting appearance in the film, saying "nothing inappropriate" happened.

"I lean back and I tuck my shirt in and at that point they have this picture that they take, which looks doctored by in any event," he told WABC radio on Wednesday.

"I'm tucking my shirt in, I assure you that's all I was doing."

He added: "The idiot Borat is going after me with a totally sensationalised false account of a ridiculous movie, I guess, he has done."

In a tweet on Wednesday, he also says that if Baron Cohen suggests his behaviour was inappropriate then the actor is a "stone-cold liar".

Borat Subsequent Moviefilm is available now on Amazon Prime Video.
