Katie Price has admitted that she took cocaine every week for six months in a desperate bid to cope.
Mum-of-five Katie was joined by son Harvey to talk on the BBC show about her campaign to make online abuse a criminal offence, which recently won the backing of a parliamentary committee.
However she also opened up about her own inner struggle to cope.
She said: "Last year, it was an awful year, I found out my mum was terminally ill, then that my husband at the time was cheating on me again.

"My horse died in front of my house, in South Africa I was held at gun point with my children Junior and Princess, then [Harvey] had a kidnap threat again and then I was divorcing my husband.
"I was self medicating on a drug, cocaine, I’m not proud of it.
"I’ve never been up that track before, I went to the doctor and it was the hardest thing ever to say ‘I need help, I’m at breaking point."

Asked by Victoria how often she was taking cocaine and Katie insisted that it wasn’t every day.
"It was weekly for about half a year," Katie said. "I went to The Priory, someone assesses you and I was in there for severe trauma and depression."
She revealed that she went to the doctors for help
She revealed that, after a four week treatment, Katie was hoping to focus on the future.
"Am I ashamed I did it? It’s not good but I couldn’t help it, I was at breaking point," she said.
In the interview, she also admitted that she is considering residential care for 16-year-old son Harvey for the first time after struggling to care for him.
Katie, 40, revealed that her son had smashed up windows, TVs and eight iPads this year.

"I don’t think people realise how hard it is to care for Harvey," she said.
After revealing that her son wet the bed twice a night, she also showed host Victoria Derbyshire the bag of pills she carried around for him and said that without them he would die.
"It’s a danger to himself and for the first time ever now I’m thinking he might have to go residential from Monday to Friday," she said. "Because he knows if he kicks off then the driver won’t take him to school, he’s sussed that out and he’s missing out on his education. He just wants to be with me all the time."

"When he’s smashing things, the kids are scared because he’s big," she said, before pleading with any other viewers who had the same experience.
"It’s so hard. I’ve never had respite, I haven’t had a carer, I do it all myself but I’m really having to think about it," she said.
Katie added. "I hate it because he’s my life."
This is in stark contrast to what she has said in the past, insisting that her son would always be with her.
Back in 2013, she told Reveal magazine that Harvey, then 11, would "always" be by her side.

"Harvey will always stay with me – I’ll always have him at home," she said. "Mum says he’s got to get away from me, but I just worry about him and other people’s safety. I like to know where he is."
Today Katie, 40, was also asked about her recent revelation that she would like to adopt another child.
"I don’t care if they’ve got disabilities," she said. "I’ve got so much love to give."
The former model also revealed that she had already met a lady that she would like to adopt from and rubbished claims that, because of her recent drugs trouble, she wouldn’t be able to adopt.
Asked whether there was a limit to how many children she would like, she joked that her children were on "a conveyor belt" and hinted that she had 11 bedrooms.
Katie appeared on the BBC show to talk about her campaign to make online abuse a criminal offence, which recently won the backing of a parliamentary committee.
Her campaign was sparked following the relentless online abuse her 16-year-old son Harvey, who has genetic disorder Prader-Willi syndrome, has received.
The former glamour model’s online petition to criminalise online bullying garnered 221,000 signatures.
This comes after Katie’s explosive Loose Women appearance, during which she admitted that Peter Andre did take her children off her after discovering her cocaine use.

She also claimed that her ex Kieran Hayler had gone behind her back to tell him.
Appearing on Loose Women today for the first time since she was handed a driving ban, Katie branded her ‘self-medicating’ "disgusting".
However she insisted that she was glad she told her family and checked into the Priory.
"If I didn’t say anything I would still be in that rut now," she said.
Asked about whether her children were still in her life, Katie said: "Why do I have to explain myself? The kids are all back to normal. I don’t blame Pete for doing what he was doing."

Katie added: "The ex told him I was self-medicating."
The mother-of-five last appeared on the ITV daytime show as a guest in October 2018, after which she was banned from driving for three months after pleading guilty to driving while disqualified.
She was fined £1,100, prompting her to flog her bright pink Barbie jeep on eBay .
Katie told the panel that it was "so good to be back" after her nightmare year.

After insisting that she was in a "good place", she said: "Obviously last year I wasn’t in a good place. So much was going on – it was hard for a human being to deal with."
Asked about her stint in rehab, she denied that she went to the Priory for drink and drugs and said that a combination of finding out about her mum’s condition, her ex cheating and her pets dying had contributed to her bad mindset.
Katie said that she hoped to be back on Loose Women
Branding it a "nightmare", she said that during that period she just wanted to "sleep all the time".
In December she also narrowly avoided bankruptcy – something she has blamed on her ex-boyfriends as she continues divorce proceedings with ex Kieran Hayler, who is the dad to kids Bunny and Jett.

Taking to Instagram as the happy news was announced, Katie shared a sweet snap with her son Harvey, 16, and mum Amy as she thanked fans for their support.
