Ellis Chapman is set to try and end his brother’s life in a shock turn of events.
Billy Fletcher’s arrival in the village has caused major problems – as he was forced to confront the man he tortured in jail, Aaron Dingle.
While the Dingle clan have taken against Billy, no one has been more against him than his own brother, Ellis, who is angry about his return and is desperate for him to start a new life somewhere else.
So in upcoming episodes, shockwaves emanate around the village when Ellis turns criminal and ‘attempts to kill’ his brother in cold blood.

First, April sees Ellis in the shop and tells him she misses him, after Ellis moved out to escape his brother.
Jessie, their mother, is determined to unite the family as Ellis and Billy are still at loggerheads.
She cajoles Billy in coming to the Bear Wolf meet and greet, where Billy shows aggression toward Frank when he accidentally knocks into him.
Later, Billy explains to his mum how he’s still struggling to come to terms with his aggression after leaving prison.
Things soon go from bad to worse between the brothers when a disappointed Ellis spots his brother chatting to his girlfriend, Victoria, after he failed to arrange a romantic evening with her.
An angry Ellis chases after Billy, and outside, Ellis threatens Billy to keep him away from Victoria and soon fists are flying.

Concerned Victoria calls Jessie as the confrontation between the brothers escalates.
But the brothers cannot be stopped when Ellis steals the van keys and accelerates towards Billy – who stands his ground in front of it.
Horrified Victoria watches as Ellis accelerates the vehicle towards Billy with no signs of stopping or swerving.
But will he really mow down his brother in anger, or will Victoria and Jessie be able to convine them to make amends?
Emmerdale airs weekdays at 7pm and again at 8pm on Thursdays on ITV.
