EastEnders’ Jean Slater to have a breakdown as she hides cancer fears?

Jean Slater is set to suffer even more hardship after she receives some desperate health news.

The Slater mum struggles with her mental health but, as her physical health deteriorates, she finds it hard to open up to her family, causing her to need outside assistance from mates like Shirley Carter.

First, the Slaters prepare for Hayley’s return, while Jean is worried when the doctor tells her she needs further tests.

Back home, Jean hides the news from Stacey, but her pain is made worse when she has a confrontation with her sort-of boyfriend, Ian Beale, who apologises for his behaviour.

Needless to say, she quickly puts him in her place.
