If you owned a television between 2007 an 2012, then there’s a very good chance you’ve probably seen Gossip Girl.
The American television show, which followed the scandalous lives of several socialites from New York, was a hit during its run and fans have been begging for more since it ended.
And now it seems their prayers may have been answered as CW President Mark Pedowitz revealed the network is discussing the future of the show – with a possible reboot on the cards.
The show followed the scandalous lives of Serena and Blair

Pedowitz admitted at the TV Critics’ Association press tour on Thursday that "discussions" were taking place but that he’s not sure "if we’re there yet".
He added that he also "doesn’t know" what the show would be without the original executive producers, Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage on board.
The original series starred Blake Lively as Serena van der Woodsen and Leighton Meester as Blair Waldorf, two ridiculously rich best friends who often did horrible things to each other.

Chace Crawford , Penn Badgley and Ed Westwick also made up the attractive main cast of Upper East Siders, who were tormented by an online figure known as ‘Gossip Girl’ who loved to flaunt their dirty laundry on her blog.
It’s not clear whether these stars would return for the reboot, but one member of the cast certainly hasn’t ruled out doing a Gossip Girl reunion in the future.
Back in August 2017, Blake Lively told Vanity Fair that she’d happily step back into Serena’s designer shoes.

She said: "Of course. I’m open to anything that’s good, that’s interesting, and that sort of feels necessary… I imagine we all would [consider it].
"I can’t speak for everyone else, but we all owe so much to this show, and I think that it would be silly not to acknowledge that."
Leighton Meester echoed this statement, adding: "If everyone was into it and if the timing was right, you know? I don’t want to say ‘No, never…’."
