The ice skates might be on but it seems the gloves are off for Dancing On Ice judges Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean as they discussed the attitude and ability of Gemma Collins.
The former Olympic champions have been watching The GC and other celebrities compete on the ITV talent show, but don’t sound that impressed by the former TOWIE star’s efforts.
Appearing on This Morning on Sunday, 61-year-old Jayne and 60-year-old Christopher stuck the knife in to 37-year-old Gem as they discussed her on-screen arguments with judge Jason Gardiner, 47.
“From Billy Elliot to Rocky Balboa. It’s Jason Gardiner and Gemma Collins,” This Morning host Ruth Langsford commented.

“Guys, we’re all gonna be tuned in to see round three tonight, what’s gonna happen here? Does it help her cause?” Ruth asked.
“I think Gemma does have a lot of followers on social media, so she will have the support there too,” Jayne replied.
“But we have to look at it as judges. [Which] is how much skating she’s doing,” she continued.

“Chris and I personally felt she hadn’t put in the hours in from her first to the second week,” Jayne went on.
Discussing Gem’s arguments with Jason – which last week saw her bark at the Australian judge to “shut up” as he critiqued her – the skating stars cringed.
“Really, I felt sorry for Phil [Schofield] and Holly [Willoughby]. Because at what point do they have to jump in?” Jayne said.

However it seems the feud may have all been fine after the cameras stopped rolling.
“No I think everyone kind of went their separate ways and let the dust settle,” Chris revealed.
“We just want her to put her money where her mouth is,” he continued.
“She needs to put her best foot forward tonight now doesn’t she. Don’t know whether its too little too late, but she’s definitely working harder this week. Well will see,” he added.
Dancing On Ice continues on ITV tonight at 6pm.
