The Voice’s Emma Willis holds back tears as nurse has the crowd on their feet

The Voice’s Emma Willis is left holding back tears as a community nurse receives a standing ovation in tonight’s episode.

Craig Forsyth, a 28-year-old commmunity nursing assistant from Irvine, in Scotland, is set to take to the stage on The Voice tonight.

Singing The Impossible Dream, he leaves his family backstage in floods of tears – and host Emma trying desperately to hold hers back – as he sings beautifully.

He is clearly full of emotion and, as one of the bigger notes arrives, he sends all the audience members on their feet and they are cheering and clapping loudly, leaving the judges wondering if they should hit their buzzers.

Olly Murs, will.I.Am, Jennifer Hudson and Sir Tom Jones are all waiting for the big note which will help them know whether they should go forward and choose him for their team.

Heading into the fourth show of the series and those precious spots on each of the coaches’ teams are filling up fast.

Both Will and Olly have four acts (both are looking for six to complete their teams) and Jennifer and Sir Tom have five acts (leaving five spots remaining in each of their squads).

Jennifer is on the hunt for a male vocalist to join her team which is currently all female singers, so perhaps Craig will fit the bill for her.
