EastEnders spoilers for next week – sordid romps and an explosive decision

Walford will become a very awkward place to be for some Albert Square residents next week.

From disastrous dates to ex-lovers walking in on a raunchy romp, EastEnders viewers can expect a lot of drama to come.

Mel Owen will also be forced to make a tough decision as her son Hunter’s behaviour spirals out of control.

But is it too little too late?

Here’s what soap fans can look forward to next week…

Mel makes a big decision as Hunter turns dangerous

Mel Owen will be forced to make a huge decision that could have life-altering consequences.

Hunter will continue to act oddly after he and Mel return home.

When Mel tries to remove all trace of Ray in the house, Hunter is relieved when he discovers that the gun he hid is still there.

But Mel is alerted to Hunter’s troubling behaviour when Bex tells her about Hunter and Keanu’s fight.

Continuing to fret, Mel tries to get her son to open up but a fed-up Hunter lies to get her off his back and sneaks off.

Jack picks up on Mel’s worrying and goes to find Hunter. However he is alarmed when he finds him attempting to chat up girls at E20.

He takes Hunter home and Mel confronts him about his behaviour. His fake tears manage to convince Mel and she comforts him, but is shocked when a furious Nicola and Maddie arrive as they demand to see Ray.

The pair refuse to leave until they get answers about where Ray is, but Mel manages to convince them that she has no clue.

Hunter spots Maddie and Nicola watching him the next day. How will he react?

Jack later tells Mel that he is concerned over Hunter’s behaviour in the club and a worried Mel looks at the CCTV before turning to Phil for advice.

At the end of the week, Mel also turns to Ian for help but, in an awkward turn of events, he assumes it is a date.

Mel arrives and attempts to ask him advice without revealing it’s about Hunter. However she puts her foot in it when she mentions Bobby, leading to Ian storming off.

She tries to apologise later and Ian opens up about what happened with Bobby.

His comments see her make a big decision. But will she go through with it?

Keanu cheats on Louise with Sharon?

Keanu Taylor’s attempt to get over former flame Sharon Mitchell might get very awkward next week when she walks in on the pair of them.

Next week, Louise is ecstatic when she passes her theory test and his keen to thank Keanu by sharing a picture of them both together on social media.

However Keanu worries that Sharon will see it and pleads with her to take it down, annoying Louise in the process.

Knowing that he has messed up, Keanu reaches out to Bex for advice and she suggests he throw her a surprise party to congratulate her.

But it doesn’t go as planned when Hunter turns up and antagonises him.

Keanu ends up punching Hunter in the street, leading to Bex trying to calm the situation down. But she is shocked by Hunter’s bizarre reaction.

Louise is touched by the fact that Keanu organised the party and the pair kiss, but are awkwardly interrupted by Sharon as she comes through the door.

Later in the week, everyone gathers at The Vic for Denise’s 50th but Sharon and Keanu can’t keep their eyes off each other.

Sharon heads to the toilet, closely followed behind by Keanu. In the cubicle together, Keanu confesses that he misses her but she continues to make digs at him for kissing Louise.

But Keanu reminds her that she was the one who broke it off with him.

As if things couldn’t get any more awkward, Louise walks into the toilets and Sharon is forced to help him escape.

Sharon continues to be on Keanu’s mind and he struggles to maintain his relationship with Louise.

But when Sharon makes it clear that things are over between them, he makes a touching gesture.

It doesn’t go to plan, however, and at the end of the week Keanu is left moping around feeling sorry for himself.

Mum Karen senses that Sharon might be the reason behind his bad mood but he insists that things are over between them.

Yet her words prompt Keanu to go and visit Sharon, but he is left panicking when Phil jokes about grandchildren.

Keanu is relieved when Phil lets him slip off to go and spend time with Louise.

Are Sharon and Keanu really over? And when will Phil find out the truth?

Jay and Ruby’s disastrous date

Jay Brown is smitten with Ruby Allen – too bad that their date turns out to be a disaster.

Stacey manages to encourage Jay (Jamie Borthwick) into inviting Ruby onto a date.

Unfortunately, Billy decides to meddle and warns Jay that it might not be a good idea after everything that has happened to them.

Ruby is currently trying to get justice for her harrowing rape ordeal, while Jay was previously arrested for having sex with an underage girl.

Despite this, the pair still end up meeting but Jay suggests that they just meet as friends. Ruby’s confidence is knocked but after some moral support from Stacey, she meets up with him at Walford East.

However the pair are shocked when Billy ends up crashing their date, with Shirley alongside him.

Their date is ruined but Billy attempts to put things right by revealing that he has a crush on Shirley. Interesting…

Jay later walks Ruby home but is startled when she shouts after him ans reveals that someone has broken into her flat.

Jay reports the break-in to the police and tries to comfort her. He also reassures her by saying that he wants to see her again.

At the end of the week, Honey tries to help out by giving Ruby a recipe for her date with Jay.

However Ruby feels very much out of her depth and calls Stacey to try and help her.

Jay doesn’t mind, however, and is instead very touched by her efforts.

Billy admits crush on Shirley

If you thought Jean Slater and Ian Beale were an odd combination, you’ve seen nothing yet.

EastEnders viewers are set to be blown away by the most bizarre pairing yet – Billy Mitchell and Shirley Carter. Yep, you heard us correctly.

Jaws will drop when Billy admits that he has a crush on Shirley… and her reaction will surely be utterly hilarious.
