Richard Hammond has revealed that one of his The Grand Tour co-stars didn’t finish the latest series of The Grand Tour entirely unscathed, teasing one of his co-star’s ‘terrible injury’.
Maybe a slight exaggeration…
The 49-year-old presenter was left seriously injured in a crash back in 2017 while filming in Switzerland.
Shown a picture of the blackened wreck of a car, he was asked during his appearance on Good Morning Britain whether he had suffered any injuries this time around.
Confirming he hadn’t, Richard said: "There haven’t been any major incidents in this one."

But he added: "The larger of my two daft friends will tell you he suffered a terrible injury – and he did."
"What happened?" Ben asked, while Susanna questioned whether it was the ‘spanner injury’.
"Nope," he replied. "He cut his finger slightly on a porcelain duck."
As Ben laughed, he quipped: "You’ve got to be careful of these things!"
However he also opened up about his other terrifying experience during their Colombia trip.
The trio all had to drive their cars over a small and incredibly unstable bridge above a fast-flowing river.
"You know sometimes you have to play up on camera?" Richard said. "Not required on that."
He added that the experience had left him "shaking all over".
