Jeremy Clarkson has revealed that The Grand Tour will not be ending after season three – and could last for another couple of years.

The 58-year-old presenter has said that streaming service has appeared to have agreed to another two series.

He will be joined by James May, 56, and Richard Hammond, 49, for the following seasons.

Fans of the show had feared that the series would end after season three.

However Jeremy gave them hope at a recent press conference, during which he spoke about the future of the show.

Jeremy told Female First: “We’re delighted to say Amazon have asked us to do more.”

He explained: "We were signed up by Amazon to do three seasons and everyone was like, ‘They’re going to do four,’ but we were only asked to do three."

The presenter also revealed that they hadn’t been able to reveal the news before season three aired because the scenes hadn’t been filmed yet.
