Emmerdale star Claire King has revealed when Kim Tate is set to return – and it’s sooner than fans were expecting.
Nasty Kim made a dramatic return last October after nearly 20 years away at the explosive masquerade ball.
She destroyed Joe Tate’s life, ruined Debbie Dingle’s wedding day and managed to anger nearly all the village’s residents.
However, Kim got her comeuppance when she was shoved off the balcony into a champagne glass fountain.
The villain was arrested and sent back to jail, leaving viewers fearing she would be gone for a while, but Claire has revealed her character is coming back very soon indeed.

Kim will be looking to get revenge on Faith Dingle after she was exposed as the mystery attacker.
It may come back to haunt Faith as Kim has proven she is one of the meanest baddies in soapland.
She may have been sent to prison, but Kim has still caused problems from inside by ordering Graham Foster to carry out her dirty work.
Most recently she told him to get rid of many of their tenants, rendering Bernice, Gabby, Diane, Daz, Dan, Kerry and Amelia homeless.

Speaking about why she returned in the first place, actress Claire said: "I think because there was already a Tate name in Home Farm so it made it easier than having some random old bit coming in and everyone going, ‘Who the hell’s this?!’ So I think it made more of an easy, smooth [transition].
"And I fancied not driving another four or five hours across the Pennines to Manchester! So it was … and I just thought it would be great fun and I still knew people here. I mean, Chris Chittell (Eric Pollard) was texting me and saying ‘Kingy it’s still the same work ethic, it’s great’ I thought, thank goodness for that. It hasn’t all got out of hand. It’s like a family here."

Claire also told The Mirror that returning to the Yorkshire soap felt like "coming home".
She said: ‘It was top secret. I told my mum and dad and my partner. But my name was secret on call sheets and scripts. I had to park round the back so fans at the front couldn’t see me. Everybody kept it really quiet.
"I’m a Yorkshire lass anyway so it is like coming home. And the house hasn’t changed a bit.
"I have been surprised at the reaction. But it is also daunting being up there in the middle of it, the centre of attention."
*Emmerdale continues on Wednesday on ITV at 7pm
