Ste Hay’s abusive stepfather is set to return to Hollyoaks – while other characters struggle with romantic relationships.
The big story to hit next week’s episodes is Ste stepdad Terry’s arrival, as his recently-arrived "brother," Jonny, tries to prove his legitimacy.
First, Ste is furious at Sinead for going through Jonny’s wallet, as she is suspicious of Jonny’s claims to being Ste’s long lost brother.
Ste tries to secretly return it but Sinead tracks down Ste’s horrific stepdad Terry.

Jonny convinces Terry that he is Ste’s brother, before Terry asks Ste whether he can stay with them for a while and, thinking he’s changed, Ste says yes.
But of course, Terry hasn’t changed at all as he steals money from Leela’s purse.
Later, Ste reluctantly lends Terry money to get ready for a job interview, but when Terry comes back to The Bean drunk, Ste kicks him out.
But that’s not all for them, as Terry threatens Ste into agreeing to steal brand new flat screen TV’s from The Bean, to which Ste agrees only if it means Terry leaving and never coming back.
Will the deal go as planned, and will it truly signal the end of Terry’s visit?
