Harry Redknapp appeared to hint that he didn’t think that his son Jamie and ex Louise had been a "compatible" couple.
Louise and Jamie, who have two sons together, split in early 2017 before divorcing in December that year.
Appearing on Good Morning Britain today, 71-year-old Harry was asked about his opinion on younger couples "not sticking out out" and trying to make their marriages work.
Host Piers Morgan asked: "In this day and age – you’ve had it with our own son as well. Marriages break up a lot these days, you have been very successful.

"I know Jamie and Louise, I like them both very much. But is there a problem, do you think, with younger people these days? I’m not talking about your personal family experience. But generally, do you think that people generally don’t stick it out enough these days?"
Harry responded: "I don’t know, it depends. If they’re not compatible it’s a problem but we’ve not had that so I couldn’t be an expert on that.
"We’ve never ever looked like we were splitting up."
The I’m A Celebrity winner’s wife Sandra, who he has been married to for 51 years, also admitted that she found it difficult being in the limelight since his newfound popularity.

Asked about her husband’s popularity, Sandra said: "I’ve found it quite hard, being in the limelight more."
She added: "But I’ve been really proud of him."
The couple have appeared together in TV interviews a number of times since Harry’s TV victory, and he will embark on a one-man theatre tour later this year.
Sandra said that she had found it hard being in the limelight
Sandra, who has been married to Harry for 51 years, said she found it "strange" when he opened up about his feelings for her while in I’m A Celebrity, because "he’s not really open like that, to the public".
Of his popularity with viewers, she added: "I think, probably being a football manager, you have to sort of keep everything in, and you can’t let people know what type of person you are, you’ve got to be strong.
"But I’ve known what he’s like all the time."
