Keegan Baker’s struggles are set to get worse when he turns to drugs to help him cope.
The teenager was traumatised when he witnessed his friend Shakil Kazemi die in a stabbing, and he himself was stabbed and left for dead until he got the attention of Mick Carter.
Keegan also felt to blame for the stabbing, after he stole the bike of a brutal gang member and, when Shakil tried to help him by returning it, the pair got caught up in a fatal game.
Since, Keegan has seemed distant and distracted, but things only get worse as he turns to drugs for help.

Keegan struggles when he gets a reminder of Shakil and, feeling like he has nowhere to turn, he thinks drugs will help.
He tries to borrow money off his mum, Karen, but he is unable to do so, and instead storms out as he sees his dad Mitch try and sweet talk Karen into watching Bailey again.
Later, Keegan bumps into Phil who asks him to give Keanu his blessing to patch things up with Louise, after Keanu refuses to date Louise for fear that it will cause problems with his brother.
Keegan agrees to help Phil in exchange for cash – but where will Keegan spend his money, and will it be on drugs?

The arrival of Mitch and Bailey is of course, quite the shock for Keegan, so will this also add to his upset and potential desire to escape into a drug-addled haze?
Of course, Phil has no idea the reason Keanu is reluctant to date Louise is actually because he is still hung up on Phil’s wife Sharon, after the pair engaged in a number of illicit romps.
EastEnders airs Mondays and Fridays at 8pm and Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC1.
