The Voice contestant Grace Latchford broke a huge show record at the weekend.
The 17-year-old blew judges Will.i.am, Sir Tom Jones, Olly Murs and Jennifer Hudson away with her voice, as she she performed an original song which she had written herself.
Despite all the judges singing Grace’s praises, only Tom turned for her tune ‘Love Says,’ meaning she automatically ended up on the Not Unusual singer’s team.
However, the excitement didn’t stop there, as on top of making it to the next round, host Emma Willis then told the teenager that she was the first star to get through the auditions round with her own song.

It’s no surprise Grace made history, as the judges were huge fans of ‘Love Says’ – a hugely romantic song that the contestant penned despite never having had a boyfriend herself.
"The moment you actually get your heart broken you’re going to write the awesomest music ever," Will.i.am told her after her performance, before joking: "I look forward to it."
Meanwhile her coach Tom Jones gushed: "If you can write songs like that then I’m so glad I turned. I’m thrilled to bits".
Fans were equally impressed with Grace, as they took to social media to praise her sweet performance.

Grace was shocked to find out she made show history
"Ok so haven’t watched #TheVoice in a while but the 17 year old grace with her own song smashed it!," one wrote.
While another agreed: "How lovely is Grace? So refreshingly natural and down to earth. Beautiful voice #thevoice".
Despite Grace stealing the show with her performance, many viewers switched off before she appeared on screen, amid a huge frustration over the show’s format.
While the whole point of the ITV show is for singers to showcase nothing but their voices, viewers fumed that the stars were completely drowned out by the loud audience, as they cheered from the sidelines.

"Good lord the audience is so loud I can barely hear the singers half the time," one viewer wrote, while another raged: "#thevoice have actually had to give up watching, can’t hack the audience screaming every time someone sings! ruined it!"
