Brian McFadden has broken his silence on the horror fall that led to his badly damaged shoulder – and revealed he WILL take part in tonight’s show, despite the pain he’s in.
The Westlife singer, who is partnered with professional figure-skater Alex Murphy, hurt himself while practising lifts, leading to fears he wouldn’t be fit enough to take part in his first dance routine in this evening’s episode.
But a physio has signed him off, as long as he takes it easy.
Speaking hours ahead of the live show, Brian said: "This is really frustrating for me because for weeks I’ve been nervous about getting here and nervous about just doing my first dress rehearsal in the studio.

Brian was in serious pain after partially dislocating his shoulder
"I do it and I love it and I was so happy, so relaxed, ready to go and this stupid shoulder has literally put me right back to the start again. But now I’m nervous and I don’t know what’s gonna happen."
He went on: "It’s so annoying cause all the work I’ve put in to get here and I felt so good after the dress rehearsal, I was like, ‘yes, I’m ready to go’ and then now to possibly not even being able to do the show because of an injury. So annoying. So frustrating. And such a stupid thing to do as well.
"If I’d have fallen over on my skates or something, but just to have been practising lifts and pop out a shoulder is ridiculous."
Brian managed to take part in the dress rehearsal but had to wait on the physio’s decision to see whether he’d be able to take to the ice tonight.

Speaking last night, he added: "We’re probably gonna have to fix a few things because there’s a lot of things where I lift her straight above my head, so we are gonna have to alter the routine going on how my shoulder is in the morning."
Brian, 38, had been left "very anxious" by the fall, partner Alex said yesterday.
"We had a fall, it was pretty bad," she explained.
"He was really anxious after that but I told him not to worry and hopefully it’s out of his system."

Brian certainly isn’t the first celebrity to get injured on the ITV show .
Just last year Coronation Street star Antony Cotton was rushed to hospital after fracturing several ribs after a fall.
Meanwhile back in 2012 Jennifer Ellison drew blood after smashing herself in the head with her own skate blade on live TV.
Thankfully she was checked out by paramedics and was back on the ice the next week.
