The National Television Awards is a night for telly stars to let their hair down and allow their professional side to slip – just a little bit – as they rub shoulders with the UK’s A-list.
But Susanna Reid has vowed to go one step further if she and Piers Morgan win their NTA gong at the glittering awards ceremony later this month.
The pair are up for for the Daytime show award for Good Morning Britain, competing against The Jeremy Kyle Show, This Morning, Loose Women and Sunday Brunch when Dermot O’Leary reprises his role as NTAs host on January 22.

And Susanna has sworn she’ll turn up to the next day’s GMB drunk if she and Piers get their mitts on the award.
The 48-year-old presenter has given up alcohol for the last six months in order to shed some weight, but promised to get "absolutely hammered" if they take home the gong.
"That night, if we win, I will drink. I will get absolutely hammered," she told Piers.

"Will you come here and present the show drunk?" Piers asked, to which Susanna replied with a firm yes.
It wouldn’t be the first time ITV presenters have shown up to their shows worse for wear.
Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield famously turned up at the This Morning studios after the 2016 NTAs still wearing their red carpet outfits from the night before.
They’d gone back to Ant McPartlin’s house with Declan Donnelly after the awards show and stayed up all night celebrating.

"We’re in a mess. We can only apologise. We celebrated on behalf of every one of you," hungover Holly told the camera.
Phil later admitted he and his co-star may have crossed the line, confessing: "That’s not a stunt we’d pull lightly, although we didn’t know we were doing it in the first place, it just sort of happened.
"I like to think we know where the line is. I do agree that we may have crossed the line, but it was a one-off."
