She has been dubbed the UK’s most prolific surrogate after vowing to carry her 14th child for another couple.
But 52-year-old Carole Horlock has carry on even after being warned about the implications on her health.
She appeared on Good Morning Britain on Thursday with even her family saying it’s time to stop as viewers waded into the debate.
Carole, who has two daughters of her own, says it’s not about the money despite each birth allowing for what she says is £15,000 ‘compensation’.
"I like being pregnant," she said. "But I’m certainly not addicted to it.

"I love the whole aspect of a new life growing inside me. I find that quite exciting. But you’re also part of someone’s dream coming true. It’s a wonderful experience.
"I’ve just read a few stories lately about women in their 50s giving birth to children and thought, maybe I could. I didn’t really connect with my last two, so it would good to finish on a high and find somebody I could connect with."
Her daughter Megan joined her on the sofa and says her mum depends on it.
"She definitely thrives being pregnant," she said. "She’s in her element when she’s pregnant. She’s a natural mother and absolutely loves it. It’s borderline addiction."

Carole said it is not financially motivated, adding: "I don’t need the money. We have a comfortable life. Surrogates get paid expenses – and so they should."
Viewers were divided with some praising her for helping families have children but others sided with the doctors and her family.
One wrote on twitter: "Well done to that amazing positive surrogate lady – lovely natured…positive attitude!"
But other tweets to the show weren’t as supportive.
"Not about the money? Why don’t she donate it to charity?" asked a user after watching Good Morning Britain.
"This just isn’t right at her age she needs to think about her health and what it’s doing to her family," another posted.
