Ray Kelly managed to escape the clutches of justice once again tonight despite being arrested for bigamy.
However his great escape left some EastEnders viewers raising their eyebrows as they noticed a bit of a flaw in the plot.
Having been arrested after his wedding to Mel Owen, Ray was handcuffed in the back of the police car.
But he pleaded with them to pull over and appeared to be suffering from a heart attack.
Yet when the two coppers pulled over and got out, it was revealed to just be a ruse and used one of the PC’s pepper sprays on him.
Ray Kelly managed to escape the police again
- EastEnders’ Ray escapes from police then attacks Mel and Hunter – but who dies?
He then threatened to spray the female officer who only had a baton.
Ray managed to handcuff them in the back of the vehicle and lock the door.
This already left some viewers a little baffled – why hadn’t the female officer, who was standing above him, threatened to use her pepper spray? And how did he manage to tie up both of the coppers with nothing to attack them with but pepper spray?
Meanwhile others pointed out that the police officer said that Ray wasn’t responding – despite his eyes being opn.
Viewers flocked to Twitter in confusion.
One tweeted: "Just as if he would be able to do that to the police! So far fetched! #Eastenders."
While another commented: "Oh please."
A third sarcastically wrote: "Award winning cops in Walford!! #EastEnders."
" “He’s not responding where’s the ambulance” MANS EYES ARE OPEN #eastenders," another wrote.
