Emmerdale’s Lachlan White ‘connected to Dingle home burglary’ in wild fan theory

Criminal activity in Emmerdale could mark the return of crazed serial killer Lachlan White.

The local residents of the Yorkshire village could be in for a severe shock if a wild – yet not implausible – fan theory proves to be correct.

Fans of the long-running ITV soap will recall, with horror, that Lachlan was put away behind bars after being busted for violent crimes and murders.

His girlfriend, Belle Dingle, looked like she would be his latest victim earlier this year when he kidnapped and beat her and threatened her with a shotgun.

But the young woman was able to escape with her life – and Lachlan was jailed for his crimes as the locals came to realise he had offed a number of neighbours.

As festive scenes have played out on the soap in recent days, viewers saw Belle return as she had taken a break from the village to recover from her ordeal.

But returning from a break at her mum’s house could turn out to be a bad idea for the violence survivor as the Dingle’s country cottage was burgled.

As the family gave statements to police, Belle began to look more and more concerned – prompting fans to predict the crime could have been masterminded by Lachlan.

“Whoever broke in must have been looking for something specific to not take anything, but what? #Emmerdale,” a further fan suggested.
