Just as the post-Christmas comedown sets in, Black Mirror fans couldn’t have asked for better timing for it to drop big news.
Excitement has been building for some time about the Netflix hit’s next chapter.

The Charlie Brooker-inspired hit will launch standalone film Black Mirror: Bandersnatch – and it’s landing on December 28!
One days’ notice is hardly the norm in an era when the build-up is almost as important as the launch itself.
But when you describe the show as a ‘sci-fi anthology series which explores a twisted, high-tech near-future where humanity’s greatest innovations and darkest instincts collide’ you have to expect things not to be done to a script.
News of Bandersnatch ‘s arrival was leaked earlier in December when Netflix tweeted about it – then quickly deleted their post.

The trailer opens with Stefan, the young programmer, discussing the strange dreams he has been having.
We’re quickly transported on his journey – and fans are counting down the hours.
They may still be awaiting the details on season five, but this will fill the gap nicely.
