Liz McDonald looks like she may be in some trouble after a shocking run in with Jenny Connor.
Christmas Day was a sad time for poor old Liz, as she was working behind the bar at The Rovers Return before having a showdown with her employer.
Then things continued to get bad as she was sacked from her job by Johnny, before she was shockingly HIT by a car driven by drunken Jenny Connor.
But, let’s rewind, as there was a lot more going on before Liz collapsed, seemingly dying from her shocking injuries.
So, Jenny continued to drink heavily throughout Christmas Day since she became concerned that her husband Johnny and barmaid Liz were sleeping together, after Johnny admitted to sleeping with Liz in a moment of madness.

Jenny has struggled and just kept drinking, until she fell over, causing some to think her husband was hitting her behind closed doors.
Then, she continued doing this throughout the day before asking for a divorce from Johnny, who was shocked and confused by her admissions of some of the shocking things she has been up to, including tracking Liz and his phones, and texting Liz’s "boyfriend" to try and keep her away from Johnny.
Meanwhile, Johnny went over to Liz and sacked her, despite her being a "kind of" victim in the situation, and she had no idea how she would make ends meet.
As Johnny left Liz alone to think about what would be happening in the future, Jenny spotted him leaving her flat, and thinking the worst, mainlined a bottle of wine, before she jumped in her car to drive away.

She drove off and stopped looking where she was going, just when Liz dropped her festive earring in the road, meaning Jenny hit her and left her laying in the road.
Jenny looked in her mirrors to check she wasn’t dreaming and, with Liz having scampered away, Jenny thought perhaps her drunk mind was making things up.
But in actual fact, Liz had gone back up to her flat where she tried to dealwith her injuries, but quickly collapsed, leaving fans concerned she might die alone in her apartment on Christmas Day.
Fans were totally shocked, with them taking to social media to share their concerns.
