Emmerdale fans were shocked to find one of their favourite characters return to the village – and they had no idea they were coming back.
Belle Dingle, who has not been seen since her boyfriend, Lachlan White, was finally caught for his murderous spree, returned to the village to celebrate Marlon Dingle’s wedding – even though he doesn’t know anything about it.
She turned up at her brother Sam’s house to help with the planning, as Sam’s partner Lydia joined with Jessie to help plan the wedding of their lives, despite Marlon having no idea what will be going on come Christmas Day.
While some fans may have read the spoilers and knew of Belle’s return for the big day, many had no idea she would be back, and took to Twitter to share their shock and confusion.
