Christmas Eve TV 2018: BBC, ITV and Channel 4 schedule for shows and films

It’s Christmas Eve and you’re either rushing around the shops picking up the last of the wrapping paper nobody wanted and hoping for an early Boxing Day bargain. Or you’re sitting smug with presents wrapped, ribbons tied and you’re enjoying a day in front of the box.

If it’s the latter then there’s something for us all – you can kick start your day with the animated classic tale of Father Christmas, catch The Grinch over lunch, enjoy Santa Claus with a tea, before all the drama on the soaps and you can be back in time from the pub for Midnight Mass.

We have the full schedule on what to watch on TV on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
