Emily Atack has revealed doing Bushtucker trials on I’m a Celebrity was like "having a gun to your head," before showing off the snakebite she got in her first trial.
Everyone remembers the awful moment when Emily was bitten by a snake when she tried to complete the first trial of the series, and she squealed and shouted as she flung the snake from her when it latched onto her arm.
And the star has now said the pressure to do the trials were the thing which kept her going and made her stay in a tank full of snakes without flinching, saying it was almost like "having a gun to your head."
Talking about her first trial, Emily described it as: "All your worst nightmare becoming a reality.

"I just thought, ‘Failure’s not an option, I’ve got to do it.’ And in that moment when you’re doing those things, it’s like having a gun pointed to your head, you know you have to do it.
"You have to feed people and they are so hungry and people are relying on you. It’s a very different scenario to what it would be – if you got a coffin full of snakes now I wouldn’t be able to do it.
"But you also have Holly and Dec’s voice and you know you’re being looked after."
Emily then showed off her snakebite to Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford, which shocked Ruth as she told the cameraman they would need to get "very close" to see the bite she got in her first trial – and Holly’s first official trial with a celebrity.
The star said the whole thing was "not easy" but said her getting through a difficult year and ending on such a high is "testament to the support I got" from family and friends.

Emily added: "We [my family] have a very difficult time in the family coming up to at this sort of time of year and it was just a really nice boost for us all.
"It’s been really hilarious for us, stressful, but it’s been this amazing blessing on all of our lives – I don’t want the wave to end.
"It’s unbelievable and it’s just testament to how much support I have and my family literally have got me through so so, much, and it’s how you come through those difficult times and the pain.
"My grandma always used to say, ‘You never meet an interesting person who hasn’t suffered,’ and if you can come out the other side of things and you think no regrets…"
Ruth asked Emily whether she is eyeing up the job recently vacated by Fearne Cotton on Celebrity Juice, where she said there were no official plans or discussions in place, but said she would love to take on the role as she "loves the whole team" on the show.
