Eamonn Holmes let his emotions get the better of him as he became furious with Ruth Langsford’s interjection as he was talking.
The This Morning presenter was speaking about the disruptions at Gatwick Airport, saying he was absolutely livid about the response to the crisis which has seen hundreds of thousands of people not able to get home for Christmas.
He said: "We’re not just talking aboutt flying off to some holiday in the West Indies but peole who’re just trying to get home to Scotland and Ireland and anyone flying out of Gatwick Airport, well the chances of you reaching your destination is not looking good, not looking good at all…"
Later, he continued to discuss the response, at which point Ruth made a noise which threw him off his entire discussion.

Eamonn said: "What a pathetic response there’s been from Gatwick Airport to this whole thing and so many of you have been asking, ‘Why don’t you shoot it out of the sky?’
"Gatwick have said today they have measures in place, they’ve not said what those are but obviously that would…"
During this moment, he stopped and sighed after his wife made a very quiet noise with her mouth.
He turned to her and said angrily: "You put me off what I was going to say then, you made a little [does noise] noise."
Ruth looked very confused, saying: "I didn’t speak?"

They went on to discuss more of what was going on in Gatwick after this, but Ruth had a face like absolute thunder as they moved to discuss the trouble people were having with their flights as thousands have been sleeping in airports and struggling to get home.
He later had a little go at the gallery, who were clearly telling him to move to the competition as he tried to "tease up" a segment.
