Rumours of rifts between Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton have been rife for weeks, but a close friend to the royals has revealed that any divisions drawn between the Duchesses won’t stop Harry and William coming together.
Last month, Kensington Palace announced that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex would be moving away from London and into Frogmore Cottage.
The announcement, that meant the newlyweds would be moving 20 miles away from their current neighbours Will and Kate, fuelled existing rumours that the ‘Fab Four’ were divided in conflict.
The alleged divisions are thought to have been ignited back in May, where an argument reportedly erupted between Kate and Meghan during a dress fitting for Princess Charlotte.

But one source, said to be a close friend of the Royal family, believes the distance will be a good thing for the two couples.
“[The move] will be the best thing for all of them,” she told People.
“Like Meghan and Kate, Harry and William have different roles.
“But the brothers will always come together because they are Diana’s sons.”

Contradicting earlier reports in the month, Kensington Palace has confirmed the two couples will spend Christmas together .
It had previously been rumoured the Sussex’s and Cambridges would be going their separate ways as a result of the widely speculated simmering temperatures.
But the announcement comes as a statement of solidarity between the quartet, during an otherwise seemingly turbulent few months.

They also enjoyed Christmas lunch at Buckingham Palace together – both couples were all smiles when they arrived.
The annual get together saw members of the monarchy dine at the Queen’s official London home before she embarks on her festive break in Norfolk.
