Lisa Maxwell ‘cheated’ on Celebrity Masterchef, claims mate Carol Vorderman

Lisa Maxwell "cheated" on her recent stint on Celebrity Masterchef, claims her mate Carol Vorderman.

Carol appeared on Loose Women and described her Christmas plans with Lisa, as she will join their family for Christmas Day dinner.

But Carol was certain Lisa would not be cooking, claiming she "can’t cook" and approached a caterer to teach her to cook five meals in preparation for Celebrity Masterchef.

Carol told the panel: "We go on Christmas Day to Lisa Maxwell’s – this is our tradition over the last five or so years.

"Lisa does not cook, she doesn’t cook! Paul cooks. She is not cooking.

"She went on Celebrity Masterchef, yes, what she did was, when she gets caterers, because she lives in The Cotswolds and we go down, she went to this catering company and said, ‘Teach me five dishes and so I can make them on Masterchef.’

"I have eaten more bloody crumble from that woman, I tell you!"

The panel were convinced this could not be the case as she did so well on the show, but Carol was openly explaining how Lisa has been getting special tuition.

She was booted off the show with Josh Cuthbert after doing a round cooking outdoors for a host of workers, and failing to impress.

But she was not the only one who supposedly had tuition before the show, as it was revealed Spencer Matthews, who was a finalist on the show, had hired in a Michelin-starred chef to assist him and teach him the ropes of the kitchen before his stint on the show.

The team at the show has previously said that chefs taking part can do whatever they need to to repare, which can include online videos and cookbooks, meaning there is technically no rules against learning a dish or two before the show.

EastEnders star John Partridge was the eventual winner of the show.

MirrorOnline has contacted representatives for Lisa for comment.
