James Jordan has admitted he probably won’t be able to resist getting into a row with Jason Gardiner during Dancing On Ice.
But the ex-Strictly star, famous for arguing with judges Len Goodman and Craig Revel Horwood, will do his best to avoid getting into hot water as a contestant on the ITV show.
James, 40, said: “I am going to wait and see what he says before I comment but, yeah, I have got a few lines up my sleeve if he comes at me.
“I want to be as good as I can every week. You have got to try to take it on the chin and hopefully come back the following week when he gives you positive comments.”

James, who has been training for the show, also revealed the routines for Dancing On Ice are harder and more dangerous than Strictly – and he fears dropping professional partner Alexandra Schauman, 38.
He added: “Although I know I can lift, I have a fear that when I go on the ice I’m not ready for that yet, that my skating is not good enough.”
- Dancing On Ice returns to ITV on January 6 at 6pm.
