Piers Morgan apologises after Lord Sugar calls Donald Trump a ‘t*ss*r’ on air

Lord Sugar lost his rag on today’s Good Morning Britain and called Donald Trump a "t*ss*r" live on air.

The angry business mogul was seething after watching a clip of the US President saying he was a "small timer" who didn’t have enough money to host The Apprentice.

Speaking in an earlier interview with Piers Morgan, Trump said: "Don’t forget Sugar works for me. When we first chose him he was so low on the economic scale he didn’t fit the role very well."

This incensed Lord Sugar, formerly known as Sir Alan, who shouted: "What a load of rubbish. I think a village has lost an idiot. He’ll be out by June there."

That wasn’t the end of the feuding, as Piers kept mocking "the old growler" for having less money than Trump.

The Good Morning Britain host asked: "Out of interest what is the biggest cheque you could write?"

Lord Sugar joked: "I think I could write a cheque for a £100 billion if you like it doesnt mean it will go through the bank."

He then confirmed that he could actually have a check for a whopping £250 million cleared.

Pointing directly at the cameras, Shuggs shouted: "That t*ss*r with the big hair…"

Interjecting, shocked Piers said: "Please, the President of the United States Alan."

Continuing with what he was going to say, Lord Sugar said: "…he couldn’t do that."

Realising his rival had gone too far, Piers said: "That’s no way to talk about the President of the US and I’d like to apologise to anyone offended by that."

Not supporting that opinion, Lord Sugar replied: "The only one that will be offended is him."
