It was the Twitter love-in we couldn’t quite tear our eyes from.
When Holly’s team at This Morning surprised her with an impromptu visit from her idol, Made in Chelsea’s Francis Boulle, she was understandably excited.
Despite only recently discovering the joys of London’s poshest in-crowd (where have you been all our posh lives, Willoughby?) she has since confirmed she’s now something of a superfan.
And naturally, Francis is her favourite MIC boy.
Following their This Morning encounter, Holly’s excitable tweet went something like this: "Believe! It’s happened… me and Francis Boulle xxx."
Holly sipping on fizz and fumes
After posting the kind of fan pic we used to send in to Live and Kicking when we’d waited seven hours in a car park to snap a picture of ourselves with Take That – except that Holly’s fan moment was followed up by the kind of lunch date we can only dream of – the host of TV’s The Voice is out lunching and quaffing fine wine with her favourite bit of toff.
Given that Holly is a happily married lady and that Francis recently took a celibacy vow (as you do), it’s only a platonic thing. But that didn’t stop Holly from suffering a bout of pre-date nerves.
Probably why she lit up a ciggie and continued to puff her way through the date. You know, to calm the nerves.
Puffing outside a swanky café over a glass of vino – red for him, white for her – the pair enjoyed an animated catch up.
What they gossiped about, we can only imagine. They could be hatching a plan for Holly to topple Caggy as Chelsea’s number one blonde. Or the entrepreneur might have been giving Holly some BAFTA-worthy lessons in how to do posh.
He could have been regaling her with tales of heroism after he survived being jumped and attacked outside a nightclub with plummy pal Jamie Laing.
Maybe though, just maybe, they were discussing how many fingers they could fit up MIC’s Andy’s enormous nostrils. That would be pretty rah, right?
Holly isn’t the only celeb super-fan of Made in Chelsea. Even TOWIE newcomer Ferne McCann has claimed Chelsea is better than Essex.
Clearly forgetting her roots (and indeed who pays her wages). Expect a MIC walk-on role from La Willoughby sometime soon. We can but hope.
In the meantime though, smoking is bad for you, kids. Don’t do it.
